Our Neighbourhood

Come & be a local - Hotel VARA is in a leafy quarter of Truro, the UK’s most southerly city, which often makes the list of best places to live. We think that it makes it a great place to visit too.

It has historic Gothic and Georgian architecture, a criss-cross of cobbled roads, & small tucked away mews, parks and a riverside. Local independent shops, galleries & market traders rub shoulders with national retailers in an eclectic mix. There’s an independent cinema, the Royal Cornwall Museum, the Hall for Cornwall, & rising above it all, is the iconic architecture of the cathedral's three spires.

Here's where we share our local insider advice, about our Truro neighbourhood & community.
