5 years of redefining city centre hospitality

We are proud to be celebrating our 5th birthday this year.

Since we took over the hotel in 2021, there has been a shifting demand in modern hospitality. Our adaptable spaces are designed to meet the evolving needs of guests, blending function with an affordable Scandinavian aesthetic. 

The public areas have been converted into a multi-functional hub comprising Scandinavian-inspired social & co-working spaces. There are dedicated meeting & event facilities, & an ongoing refreshment of hotel rooms & bathrooms.

Spaces are now used for everything from business meetings & training sessions to networking events, interviews, creative workshops & private gatherings. All spaces are fitted with modular furniture, so they can be easily transformed as needed.

Our ‘more than breakfast’ has proved very popular. While traditional full English breakfasts were once considered an expectation within UK hospitality, we have embraced a lighter, more contemporary European-inspired approach that reflects changing preferences around wellness, flexibility & modern travel. There is even a ‘grab & go’option for those with early starts. 

We continue to develop & refresh our offering & are proud to host a variety of events, celebrations & gatherings as well as those travelling for business, visiting friends & family or exploring Cornwall.
